Fire Safety Audit
Fire Code Compliance
Code compliance is a set of standards or requirements for property compliance to be functional and eligible for occupancy safety from fire hazards, as well as solid structural integrity.
Fire Code Compliance in Malaysia
Fire code compliance in Malaysia is governed by the Uniform Building By-law (UBBL) 1984 under the Streets, Drainage and Building Act 1974 and the Malaysian Standards MS 1183:2015.
The Uniform Building By-law (UBBL) 1984 is a set of guidelines that directs and influences one’s building design in order to protect the safety of the individuals who will later inhabit the building or structure once it is completed.
On the other hand, the Malaysian Standards MS 1183:2015 provides informative descriptions, establishes normative practices and describes fire safety performance criteria to improve the safety of buildings and ensure that the rights of the public to be protected from fire threats are met.
